to make it touch operated. The circuit is very simple and using only 5 components which are a 555 timer IC, a 12 volt relay, two 5.1 mega ohms resistors and a 1N4007 diode.
The circuit can be operated with 12 volt DC supply or battery. You can also operate the circuit with low voltage for example 5 or 6 volts but it is essential to use a same voltage relay also.

A 555 IC can be used to build a very efficient touch switch circuit like the one shown here. We can also say it a touch activated relay circuit. The circuit is quite sensitive and makes a 12 volt relay ON and OFF when you touch the points shown in the circuit.
You can connect any AC or DC device with the relay
