The simple transistor amplifier circuits are commonly used where small audio amplification is required. There are also high power transistor amplifier schematics are available but it is easy to use ICs as compare to transistors if you want to make a high power audio amplifier circuit. But on
the places where very small audio amplification is required then this circuit will do a good job. The circuit mentioned here is a single transistor amplifier. This type of transistor circuit is mostly used in simple radio circuits, tone generator circuits, melody circuits, headphone amplifier circuits and in many other small audio circuits.
