This simple 12V lamp dimmer circuit can be used for dimming or control the light of 12V bulbs. The circuit is quite simple and using only two components, which are a 2N3773 transistor and a 3.3K variable resistor. You can also use any similar transistor in the place of 2N3773 if you can't find one.
The brightness or intensity of bulbs can be controlled by adjusting the 3.3K variable resistor.
The circuit is using two 12 volt 10 watt lamps but you can also use one 20 watt lamp or four 5 watt lamps as desired. The transistor will dissipate heat during operation therefore use a suitable heatsink with it.
