which will activate a relay switch on movement. The pendulum system can be made easily with two wires by making a loop with one wire and attaching a small weight to the another wire as shown in the diagram. The wires must not be insulated.

The working of the circuit is simple when any movement occurs the pendulum will swing and touch the loop due to which the transistor Q1 conduct and activate the timer circuit that is built around the Q2. When the timer circuit is activated it will switch ON the relay and hence any alarm, lamp etc is connected with the relay will become activated for a preset time period and automatically deactivated after the preset time period is over. This preset time period is depends on the 470uF electrolytic capacitor used in the circuit. By increasing the value of this capacitor will increase the relay activation time for example a 100uF capacitor will decrease the time period to around 15 seconds. With 470uF the time period will be around 45 seconds and with 1000uF or more this time period will be increased to some minutes.

The operating voltage of the circuit is 9V to 12V DC. It can also be operated with low voltage for example 5V or 6V but make sure to use the relay voltage value according to the operating voltage.

This is a very interesting project of a movement sensor or detector circuit. The circuit is using a pendulum and can detect movement of any object and can be used for multiple purposes. Like it can be used to secure your vehicles or other large objects. The circuit is using a pendulum system,
