to get the great looking blinking effects. The oscillator produces current which change quickly one or more times in an oscillation's cycle. This circuit works on relaxation oscillator principal. Transistor 1 is bc 477 and transistor 2 is bc 547. The oscillator covers a huge range of frequencies the circuit is very cheap and simple to build. Care must be taken that the current does no goes over the LED rated current. If current goes over the LED rated current then use 220 ohms LED current resistor in series with LED to control or limit the LED current.
