A DC voltage doubler or voltage multiplier is a circuit which will increase some volts or double the voltage for example 3v to 5v, 6v to 12v or 12v to 24v, we can also call it voltage booster circuit. As the electronics technology is growing day by day the demand of DC voltage doubler

circuits are also increasing. So here is the circuit of voltage multiplier which will increase 12v DC to 24v DC. The circuitis based on a very famous IC NE555. In this circuit the IC working to produce short pulses of DC electricity which passes through capacitor, diodes and multiplying the voltage. The output current is 50mA.
