This is a very interesting project of a dark activated led flasher circuit. The circuit flashes two LEDs in flip flop manner when there is no light on the surface of the LDR. The circuit is also uses a peizo buzzer which is optional. It will provide a beep signal with the blinking of the LED2. If you want only a single LED
The  flashing (ON and OFF) then you can remove LED1 and R6 and the peizo buzzer. A relay switch can also be connected in the place of peizo buzzer for flasing big AC or DC lamps.

The operating voltage of the circuit is 9V to 12C DC. But it can also be operated with lower voltages for example 5 or 6 volt. If you want to operate the circuit with 5 or 6 volts then replace resistor R6 and R7 to 390 ohms, because using 1K resistor on lower voltage will make the LEDs glow dim.

The sensitivity of the circuit to sense light / dark can be adjusted with the R2 which is a 100K variable resistor. The flashing rate of the LEDs can be increase or decrease with the variable resistor R4.
