In the previous article how to make / build a crystal radio we have shown you how to make a crystal radio easily with minimum parts. The circuit was so simple and basic due to which the performance was normal because there was no preamplifier and amplifier stages was used.
So here is a crystal radio circuit with preamplifier and amplifier stages to improve receiving sound.
The circuit shown below is using a transistor 2N3904 as a preamplifier and an IC LM386 which is amplifing the audio signals coming from transistor to drive a miniature 8 ohms loud speaker or headphones.
