The circuit is using two 1N34 germanium diodes. You can also use other similar diodes but make sure they are germanium because these diodes work good for RF detection. For LED use any small 20mA to 25mA LED of any color. If you are making the circuit on veroboard or any other PCB make sure to fit the components as near and possible and also make the leads of the components as short as possible. The antenna can be a small wire of 10 centimeters.
Working of the circuit
Working of the circuit is very simple when the two germanium diodes receive an RF signal through the antenna then they convert this signal in to DC current and this DC current makes the LED light up.
