The circuit is using three 1.2 volt 2000mAh NiMH batteries and a 6V 200mA solar panel, which will completely charge the batteries in 10 hours therefore it is advised to point your solar panel in the direction where it will get sunlight all the day. The best idea is to set it top of your lamp in straight angle so it will receive maximum sunlight.
